Focus: To use a complex sentence - with a joining word - like because. To use full stops, commas and capital letters correctly - can you do it?

My Recount of the Weekend

Over the last two days I had a weekend and it was great i played with mitchell.

On Friday after school i did nothing just played.

On Saturday my cousin played Basketball and i won the first game and my cousin won the next game i was sad.

On Sunday i went shopping with my nana and grandpa. And went one a big walk.  it was fun and I got new shoes.  and I'm wearing it now.

My favourite food is  tacos because  they are good.

My favourite character in The Magic Faraway Tree is rick because  he's cool

A sport or game I would love to play at school this week is dead ball.

A book I would love in Chapter Chat to do is dont no
One thing not many people know about me is im nice
